Surgical Pathology Fellowship

Accredited one-year fellowships in surgical pathology are offered at Cedars-Sinai's Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine. The program emphasizes general surgical pathology with graduated responsibility as the fellow assumes a front-line role performing frozen section and microscopic readouts. The fellow gains expertise through review of in-house and outside consultation cases and by teaching junior residents. Fellows present at inter- and intra-departmental conferences. Involvement in ongoing research is strongly encouraged.

Applicants must be eligible for California licensure and have at least two years of anatomic pathology in an approved residency program. Board eligibility is preferred. Stipends are commensurate with the applicant's level of training.
